I’ve mentioned quite a few times that I haven’t had much time for the comic in the last few years. This is due to moving out on my own and getting a job. When I first started revising the archive, I had much more free time, so I was confident that I would be able to do it. Unfortunately, my life changed shortly after that, and I know everyone is pretty frustrated.

As much as I want to update the archive, it looks like I just won’t be able to (at least not right now). So after completing the revised first chapter, I’m going to go back to working on chapter 9 onwards, leaving the older comics in between. It sucks, and I still hope that I can go back to work on older chapters eventually, but I think this hiatus has lasted long enough.

I found a bit of free time to work on some pages, but the slow going will continue for awhile longer.

The comic hasn’t been updating every week, but it HAS been updating at LEAST every three weeks, which is a hell of a lot more than twice a year. We’re not yet at the ideal updating schedule, but we’re going in the right direction. I’ve also decided to start using my deviantArt account again. It was about as neglected as my poor comic. I’ve had my fun drawing furries, but it’s time to get back to good-old anime….is what I’d LIKE to say. I love the anime style, but I’m worried I’ll begin to rely on it too much and stunt my growth. Maybe I’ll try branching out into different styles, or at least tweaking my own style to be less…generic. It’s never too late to experiment and practice new techniques. That’s how you get better!

What I’m up to now:

Commissions. Lots and lots of commissions. It’s awesome. I’m learning a lot and finding out what I’m comfortable with as far as pricing and work-load. The extra money is a huge help to my pitiful income. Thanks to everyone who’s bought one from me! I hope I can keep doing a steady number of them while I work on other projects.

Possible Future:

I’m adding a new button to the main page with my commission information. Right now, you can only find it on my FA page. I’m hoping to have the comic on a proper once-a-week schedule by the end of chapter one. If I can keep it up, then after chapter two, perhaps I can begin updating actual NEW comics alongside the remodeled ones. That’s the highest hope.

TL;DR

Makin’ money drawing furries and updating the comic decently.

The main page got a little re-arranged. Since I have tons of interests and projects, it makes more sense to have Fox Tails in its own section instead of the main website itself. I’m not shoving it aside or anything, but I think you guys know by now that I jump around a lot.

What I’m up to now:

I’ve been concentrating a lot on my fur-affinity account and that’s what’s getting a lot of updates. Since a lot of the fans of my comic and art tend to be furries, I wanted to give drawing them a shot. I’m still new on the scene, which is why I’m updating so much art. I’ve had more luck there than deviantart as far as commissions go, so I wanna be as popular as I can get <3

Possible future:

Anyone who knows me knows I love coming up with stories. Fox Tails is just the one that came to the surface. I’d like to perhaps delve into a couple while I half-ass the comic’s new updates >.>; What I’d REALLY like to do is work on a visual novel game. I’ve partly finished a Fox Tails one (I may cut the project short and just release a mini version of the game for free). Toyed around with making a furry one, but it’s such a huge project, it’s doubtful it’ll go anywhere. Hell, if anyone has a decent script and a marketing plan, let me know.

You probably already know this, but I’m Magic Kitsune, or Fallon in the real world. I’m most known for my webcomic, Fox Tails. Also for disappearing suddenly and without notice. You’ll get used to this.

I also enjoy drawing many other things, mostly anime, animals, and the odd furry. I like to write, and someday hope to be a published novelist. My favorite food is fish, my sign is Scorpio, and my blood type is O. These are important details.
